Maytag is pricey, but it is the best. // Kenmore (sears ) is good quality at a more economical price.

Why do you care if the washer & dryer are good looking they all tear up in time look for an off brand , and see who makes it you will be suprised ..and it will be half the cost , and you can not say "money is no object " cause if it was you would not be asking all of us / complete strangers ..you would have went to the department store and go with what they suggest...I have $400 .00 tied up in both of mine ,and it is going on 15 years with no problems at all ....it out lasted my sister's pretty one by 8 years that cost double for each ,
and do not buy no extended warranty, if the product is flawed it will show in the first year , most are not likely to mess up within the first five years, all the extended warranty does is take out of your pocket, and add to the profit, and in some cases the more into the pocket of the sales person.(.extended warranties are sold to the naive consumers as extra protection, but chances of malfunction during that time most products have to have a -1% chance of failure,to offer extended warranties.. if the failure rate is high you will not be offered an extended warranty is will be sold "as is" or marked "close out"

I have a Maytag set. I got mine at Lowes, and with the washer, dryer, parts for hook up, and warranty it was under $1000.00. They have lots to choose from, I didn't get the cheapest but Maytag has the best warranty policy as well as replacement policy. I hope this helps you out. Good luck. BTW I love the way mine look, both front loaders white, with silver facing on control panels.

Go with front load washer and dryer. We love our Frigidaire washer and gas dryer. Check out lowes store for a nice selection of appliances.

In Europe, Miele or Bosch are the only way to go.
In the US, Maytag is the brand for you.

Go to Home-depot or Lows, they have people in there who will help you decide on what will work best for you.
Good Luck.
