Is it wrong to kill babies?

-) They are living, dead things do not keep growing.
-) They don't know things yet, but some adults don't either.

What if that were you that got snuffed out of a life to live?

We send serial killers to death row, but women are told every day that aborting a fetus is ok, because they do not really represent a living baby.

If this is not a living thing, why is it still growing? Why do they have to kill it first? Abortion is just a way to kill humans just like you or I, and not have to deal with the responsibilities of sex and pregnancy.

Why do we support killing living babies, before they are born, but condemn serial killers? We already know that letting the child come to full term yields an adult human later in life just like me or you, so why do they argue it isn't killing anyone when in truth, it is killing this person before they have a chance to even have a decent life?

When will you get tired of people being killed, just because they aren't old enough to be important yet?

Yes, abortion is murder. Love your reasoning too- you are right, living things keep growing. And they are defenseless. I could have been a victim of abortion and so could of my 2 adopted children. Our birth moms loved us so much that she chose life and placed us with adoptive parents. things that live are the only things that continue to grow- when those babies are born, they are not full grown yet, and still depend on their parents for their life and care- and after birth it is wrong to murder those kids, you can be up for first degree murder- so why just because we call it choice, and legal can we say it is right. May people start to think about this, and realize it is wrong- also one more thing- it not only is murder- abortion does horrible things to the women- she can have infections, torn uterus, excessive bleeding, later miscarriages, breast cancer, and other things- guilt and shame is real when a woman realizes that they took the life of their child.

Is living an act of seeing? what about the blind?
Is living meaning breathing air? what about fish?
Is living meaning own DNA structure? all have that in or outside the womb
Is living being able to speak? what about the mute?
Is living meaning being able to live without external support? what about those on life support?
Are we eating a life when we eat an egg vs a chicken? If not why do vegetarians not eat eggs?
Define BORN: Life that has begun from nothing developing into something striving and doing well till something comes along to stop it's normal path of life. Or after a baby is fully developed and is actual in visual sight.
When does a baby given a soul?
For those who think that it is better abort than to keep it and have baby abused neglected:what is adoption for of all these families waiting five years before they can get a baby? Good kind hearted people are waiting and babies that they could have are being aborted.
Since an argument of what is right about abortion can rage till the end of time and only till the end of time shall we know which way is right, wouldn't it be better to not take the chance now and give the baby a decent home and give desperate pre-parents a baby to love the they have been yearning for? Why take the chance?

Abortion may not really be the right thing to do. However, I feel that there should not be any law to stop people from aborting their babies. Everyone has a right to decide what they want and if for some reason they don't want to have that baby then be it so. There are many situations where having babies is a big burden to the family. In those cases, does the Government come forward and provide any financial assistance?

Also, why do you call only abortion a murder? If you are concerned about life then you should be considered about everybody's and everything's life. Have you never killed animals to eat? Have you never used mosquito repellants, insecticides, pesticides? Have you never used vaccinations? You may have done all the above tasks thinking that you are protecting yourself. But the point here is - You snuffed out a living being.

Is abortion murder? No, in order to committ murder the crime must be against a BORN human being...an abortion is a termination of a pregnancy which means no one has been BORN.

Is it wrong to kill babies? Yes it is wrong to kill babies...a baby is a BORN human being. A pregnancy is not a BORN lifeform. A pregnancy is either a zygote, embryo or fetus...until it is BORN it is not a baby.

Abortion is one thousand percent murder. Has anyone ever read the bible? It says "Thou shall not kill". That doesn't mean don't kill unless it's just convenient. I don't understand why in America if someone drives drunk and hits a pregnant woman, thus killing her baby, then it's considered vehicular homicide, but a woman can walk into a Dr's office and consent to have her child killed, and nothing seems to be wrong with that. People have lost all humanity. Abortion should be illegal. If you don't want a baby, use a CONDOM!

At just 7 weeks after conception, the baby will turn her head if her cheek is stroked. At 8 weeks, if her palm is pricked, she will open her mouth and pull her hand away. She can suck her thumb. At 9 weeks, she will grasp an object placed in her palm. As a woman and as a minister I agree with you. Babies are babies from the time of conception. They do not start out one species of creature and become another nor are they just tissue nor just an inconvenience. As a minister and as a caseworker I have counseled women who have had abortions and have learned that many suffer the same symptoms as someone with post traumatic stress disorder,many are depressed, many have difficulty conceiving and carrying a child to term later when they do want a baby. Sudden less than full term ending of a pregnency is harder than many realize on a women's hormonal system.

However there are women who have had an abortion and condemning them rather than introducing them to God's love and forgiveness is also wrong. I am not saying you are doing that but just that there are people who do. Babies die everyday from starvation in impoverish countries, but here we all are talking about a Dixie cup of human tissue like its more important. If you really care then there should be ZERO kids without parents. Sadly people think of children like cars. The older a child gets, the color, and its health all determine the chance of being adopted or fostered. If abortion isn't needed then why is the wait for a healthy less than 1 yr old white baby only 5 years? That's going to get alot of heat from everybody. I know I could never myself, but what other people do I have no say in. It's legal and in being legal (society) does not see it as that. I wouldn't kill a dog in the womb, no less my growing child. It's my feeling on the issue. Embryo or fetus call it what you will. Of course I think with me being pregnant the my opinions have changed somewhat and seem stronger than normally would.
