Why is society becoming so evil?
Is it because of the raunchy stuff on TV?

yes AND no. some television is actually entertaining while teaching a lesson (i've learned some interesting math by watching Numb3rs) while other shows are just plain terrible in terms of intellectual gain. Yet other shows promote violence...
it's actually a really broad question when you look at it. It's like asking wether we should get rid of the internet so we can remain virus free. (yahoo answers is worth the risk though :) )
One more thing: Here's an idea for all of those football fans out there: why not get off the couch and actually PLAY the game? While a majority of people find watching a sports game fun, i find it more boring than my 4th period science teacher's lectures about cell structures. It's so much more fun to PLAY the game than WATCH it. (not to mention healthier. think about it: sitting inside eating cips and pizza, watching the football game VS exercising outside in the fresh air, playing the game. hmmmm.....)
I think that TV shows could go in a more positive direction. out with the bad, in with the good.

television categorized advertisements are annoying..they destroy the continuance.. thrill of flicks get disturbed, time waste.. all simply by fact of categorized advertisements Say no to television categorized advertisements yet whilst purely one must be chosen then, those get fairer in 2 weeks...get slender in 10 minutes...get appealing...blah blah blah annoying
