I have no idea, and I think it's ridiculous! They are just people.

someone just wrote you that success is measured by how much money you have...that is true,with Celebrities and in every day life....People are measured by their educational, physical and monetary achievements....Celebrities are treated "special" because they have been conditioned by the public that they are....People kiss their behinds for many reasons; Admiration, they have money so a cabbie, limo driver, restaurant or club owner, dog groomers, caterers,etc. any one who would benefit from their moolah, is going to kiss butt...The media photographers make tons of money on that "hard to get" photo, and the public eats it up......I personally do not worship any of them, but would love to trade checking accounts with most of them, hell, just the interest on what they make in a month, I probably don't earn in a year.....worship? NO way.......envious of their net worth, heck yeah, I work my tail off and my take home pay is less than $250.00......but I couldn't get in the front door, where they would be escorted in with body guards pushing me out of the way!!!! welcome to the land of the "have's and the have not's"

Because in Today's society, we value MONEY as a measure of success.
In this, by stereotype, all celebrities seem OVERPAID to us, so we worship and envy them completely.
But that is our fault for letting our world become drones to worshipping benjamins over integrity.

because it sort of started with filming...I took a film class, and learned why they started to make movies...it was to see if a horse, lifts all four legs off of the ground at the same time!
then the movie directors went to people, and those people didn't want to be in those films for free,,, they started to get demanding..."if you;re gonna put me in your movie..then I want this, and I demand that...etc.."
People go around trying to please and appease them, so as to get those certain stars to act in their movies...etc...
and the public goes right along with the movie mags,and what my hubby calls "Toilet paper" for :People Magazine, and all of the other tabloids out ther...I like to buy them...but, he would rather I didn't! LOL!) I have stopped many times,, but,then , I start to read them and or just look at what the stars are wearing....and then I get "rehooked" again!!LOL! I think that they are fun to read...sometimes!
Americans and other cultures I believe really "honor" these actors and whomever, because they do what they do..and the rest of the population, well, we do other jobs...and we hail those that "entertain" as pretty darn terrific!! They help us laugh, and poke fun at ourselves...etc...They show us history, and song, and music,and people, life and times...etc...thru their showmanship!
that's the way it has been for thousands of years...even before t.v. and the movies!

Because they are very fascinated with these celebrities' lifestyle. I admit, I am also very fascinated with celebrities' lifestyles, but I damn sure don't worship them. They're people just like you and me.

not all the people do that,
and when someone do it ,it refers to their weak souls and shallow thoughts.
believe me ,
noone on earth treat celebrities like they are Gods and has a good personality , and he, for sure, not noticing himself.

cuz they are more like our toys come to life...they do everything we wish we could do....they live out over a million lives, and we're stuck with our 1 life
