He outed a CIA agent working against nuclear proliferation. Her identity is known by our enemies. Isnt that 'treason'?

Technically, I don't think it's treason. That would be offering material comfort and aid to an enemy.

Certainly, debilitating our WMD counterintelligence is a serious issue, but you'd have a hard time proving intent here.

Now I do think he's guilty of mishandling of classified information. He knew Plame's status, and yet he discussed it broadly in the context of a political campaign to discredit her husband. 3 different individuals (Fleischer, Armitage, and Libby) leaked it. Rove probably did too. There's no question the leak was intended, and Cheney was ground zero.

What articles are you talking about? Berger did not commit treason yet he deserved more beneficial than a slap on the wrist for destroying labeled archives. we can not in any respect understand what grow to be on those archives till Berger tells us. Cheney did not commit treason. He has no longer dedicated any crime.
