10 on the field, 4 behind the desk, never know who might come to the office and take a shot at someone! Ever seen an episode of Numb3rs?

Let's see, my husband has gotten shot at, had to chase down people on foot and in the car, spit at, vomited on-and worse-you get my drift, verbally abused, accused of things he did not do, not to mention fighting with drunks, getting scratched, punched, dealing with people telling lies about who they are,directing traffic in the dark in a snowstorm when the lights are out, not to mention people with weapons, on drugs, or people on drugs with weapons!!! and assorted other things that are probably worse than I can think of right now. If it isn't a dangerous job, it sure is not fun sometimes.I would say a 10.

i don't know.. it might be more dangerous to be arrested by them, because you can get beat or shot
