It is possible that it can have an effect, of course, we were fortunate in like 82' we had an abortion prior to concieving our daughter, in 83" unfortunately we ended, but since I have met many that can't concieve or there is concern on my part and didn't want to be married, annullment if you want children sounds harsh, if you determine she is barren maybe she will consent to a situation where you can have children and you can remain together, if you didn't concieve the children before you might have yourself checked for fertility, sperm count that is, before drama starts, I know ,myself ,I regret the decision to have an abortion before we married,it was family drama , my sister getting pregnant when she was 16, and I witnessed the drama,inhind-sightI wouldn't have done it, but fortunately she concieved after the abortion I have concieved since and she has as well with her current husband, planned parenthood may help, DR Mary at the Full Circle Health Clinic in Edmond, Oklahoma may be able to help

According to Ann Furedi of the British Pregnancy Advisory Service, Elaine’s experience is not uncommon. But she says women who have terminated one pregnancy should be reassured that they have every chance of conceiving again.
There were 173,701 terminations performed on women resident in England and Wales last year. And according to statistics, almost 40 per cent of women in this country will choose to end a pregnancy at some time. Out of those most will go on to have a fulfilling family life.
Ann says: "Women may fear something may have gone wrong during the procedure or can feel guilty, both leading to worries that they will not be able to have children. But they should not worry.
"We offer post abortion counselling and a woman faced with these particular circumstances may want to talk to her GP about it."
Ann said that although the feelings women experience during pregnancy after abortion had been compared, by some experts, to those experienced by women who had suffered a miscarriage, it was impossible to generalise.
She said: "Someone who has had a miscarriage may feel anxious because she does not know why her pregnancy ended, a woman who chose to end it knows she did it deliberately.
"However, when she has a wanted pregnancy, she has to face up to all sorts of feelings and emotions that she did not face before. This may lead to guilt and insecurity.
"The most important message to get across is one of reassurance, as Elaine’s now happy experience has shown."

medical abortions are completely safe. she shouldn't have any less chance of getting pregnant again as anyone else. think about it: women who miscarry and have d and cs (same as having an abortion basically) don't have effects, so why would women who electively abort?

Yes, every time you have an abortion it scars your uterus thus declining her chances of pregnancy every time.
If she has had more than one abortion you should really question your use of birth control.

abortions can leave scar tissue on the uterus and a new pregnacy can be difficult if there is too much scar tissue
