How bad is the Warner Cable HD DVR, really?

I'm moving to a new condo and I can no longer get DirecTV HD. I currently have an HR20 and have gotten used to it after a Series 2 Tivo. I've searched around for info on the Time Warner HD DVR (SA8300HD), but everything I've found is pretty negative.

It might not be as good as what you are used to.

But I hear Warner Cable HD DVR is a hell of a lot better than rabbit ears!

I have the very same converter, but with another cable service provider.

Time Warner sucks! But the box is fine.
