main i just founed out that my bestes friend from pre school is gay main i fell out i told her we can't be friends anymore cause people gone thonk im gay to and im not like that now was i wrong for telling her im not her friend anymore should i stay her friend and let people think im gay hell to the no but what do u think

If they've been your friend for that long and just now told you that they're gay, that's kind of messed up for not telling you sooner. Or it could be they just found out. I think it's wrong you said that you shouldn't be friends anymore. I think if you've known this person this long you should still continue to be friends and just act like you use to. It's just their own personal preference on wether they like men or females or both. I mean.. what if the whole world was gay but you like guys... and your best friend you've known forever and some tells you.. oh you like guys! I can't hang out with you. You wear blue shoes! OMG ppl are gonna think i like blue shoes now! I think u should put it behind you. If someone told you that it takes courage cus to some ppl it's emberrissing. It doesn't mean she's gonna hit on you and it doesn't mean ppl are gonna think you are gay.

You were wrong. Gay people need friends too. If you were a good friend you would stand by her. You could let other people know that you were not gay too. I know a lot of people are homophobic these days and I am a little myself, but i have several gay friends and I enjoy their company a great deal. They understand, as do my straight friends, that I am not gay and so we have no problems or misunderstandings about it.

If she really is your best friend, now is the time that she is going to need your support more than ever. People won't know that you are gay unless you go around and tell everyone. And if they do then they are the ones with the problem. Be a true friend and give her the support that she needs right now.

Does it matter if other people think you're gay. As long as you know yourself that your not, there shouldnt be a problem. Gay people have strait friends too, other people also know that, so please don't let this ruin a friendship. Expecially now, It is a hard time for your friend now its out in the open. Stand by your friend and help him/her. I'm sure that he/she will be thankful later on for that

first, she's going through hell as it is coming out, so losing friends over it isn't going to help her. 2nd, people will NOT think you're gay because you have a gay friend, thats ridiculous! do you assume that every gay person on earth only associates with other gays? thats a bit silly.
