If he's moody, you should just back off and leave him alone.

Personally, when I'm moody, I want my personal space. I don't want people talking in some super-sweet tone asking what's wrong.

ask him where he want to go (somewhere fun) or what he wants to do.... it might help him to be in a good mood! then if he refuse your offer then just ignore him for a while and don't argue coz it will lead to a fight. i'm sure sooner or later he will be back in his good mood again. try also to ask him if he's okay or whats bothering him or if he want you to leave him alone for a while! moody people have reason why they are in the bad mood. probably he have a problem that he don't want to share to others and just want to keep it to there self.. if you are really his true friend you can do that & you can understand him!

Get out of this relationship he is going to blow and its not going to be pretty, people like this tend to do this and they think its okay because people like you have the patients to handle it but believe you me you are going to get frustrated if he doesn't change, run run like the wind.
