i asked my daughter what she is doing and she said her leg itches...she does itch her leg, but i have caught her touching right above her private parts???

don't worry it's normal,she'll grow out of it,she's just experimenting,all kids do that.

Although she is exploring you need to tell her that is not to be done around the house or in public. My mom used to whack my hand when I did it and personally I have no issue doing that to my son if he starts it too. Try to have her keep her hands busy. Also the fact she pushes herself against the ground sould be her itching. Its a SMALL possibility but ask her if it itches or something. If so get it checked out.

no it's normal , at least she doesn't have her dog lick her parts like my little cousing use to do. it's normal she just have curiosity, it might be wrong for us but for kids they really don't care and if you tell her to stop and said to her that it's wrong then she'll do it often when you are not watching so just let it go and she'll get bored and start a new thing, i do recommend that you buy her something to distract herself like a video game or a toy.

I would be extremely cautious.... this is TOO early of an age to be touching these areas WITHOUT FIRST being introduced to them SOMEHOW from SOMEBODY.
If there are no signs of rash, or skin irritations that would warrant such a behavior... then it would be adventageous to investigate deeper. If not for your own piece of mind, then for her own health & wellbeing.

Maybe she has a rash. Maybe its truly a medical situation.
