Seems to me that England never wins anymore. The last World Cup was somewhat unfortunate for them as injuries were bothering them, but they do look pretty bad. With change in coaching and players, I hope they do rebound. But isn't it time for them to either drop Gerard or Lampard as those two really dont play well together. My British 11 would include Robinson at goalie Ashely Cole and Nerville at Full backs, Terry and Ferdinad in the middle. Gerard in the midfield, Wright-phillips and Joe Cole at the Wings. Beckham as my Shadow stricker, backing Rooney and Crouch up front.

My list:
David Beckham (c), David Seaman, Steven Gerrald, Michael Owen, Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt, Wayne Rooney, John Terry, Rio Ferdinand and Frank Lampard.
I was real disapointed when the lost against Portugal las Cup, and during the Euro.
They need that 2002 team back.

Mine would include Foster (really, Robbo isn't that great) in goal, Neville, Rio, Terry and Cole as the back four.

Hargreaves and Gerrard in the middle, Lennon and Cole on the wings, Rooney in the hole and Owens up front (Dafoe or Johnson when Owens is injured)
