I like Obama for a Democrat. I hope he can beat Hilary in the Democratic primary. When GWB finishes his term in office, this country would have been ran for 20 years by Bushes and Clintons. Enough is enough. It is time for a change. If the war in Iraq is still going on during the Presidential race, I will have to vote Republican. I think we created a mess in Iraq and I believe we have to tough it out and clean it up.

I think he's a very idealistic politician, and he conveys a sense of hope and fairness when he speaks that brings a lot of people to his side. Do I think he'll get the nomination? No, it's possible, but I doubt it. I think his inexperience will hurt him in two ways. The first is that he speaks from the heart as well as the head and it's already gotten him into trouble once, just this last week. He had to do damage control for saying the troops are dying for nothing. He has to watch his wording more carefully and not lose his sense of propriety when he is caught up in a speech or having questions thrown at him by reporters. The only way to get comfortable with that and not make mistakes is through experience. In getting that experience, he may make a monumental mistake, a la Kerry or Howard Dean. The other drawback for him still comes from inexperience, but in the debates. The debates are huge for people who haven't quite made up their minds about who they are supporting. He's got a lot of promise and he's an amazing speech writer and speaker. I'd like to see him be Hillary Clinton's running mate. I think they would be unbeatable together. There he gets the experience he's lacking and then can make his own run in eight years. He's young enough for that to work for him admirably. I hate to see him wasted in any case, he's much too valuable.

An opportunist. But think of the power of a Hillary/Obama ticket: criticize either and you're a sexist or a racist.

He's fairly good in my opinion, but if he gets on the ticket, the Repubs will be blasting two things in his face: 1. Has middle name is Saddam, and 2. He only has two years of experience. He could do well, but he probably has to wait a few more years. He's way better then Hilary or Kerry because he's an antiwar fresh face.

Barack Hussein Obama seems to be a very intelligent and optimistic man. However, he is much too liberal for me. He and all the other Democrat candidates are for Open Borders and Amnesty for Illegal Aliens. I will not vote for any candidate who supports those two issues.

I don't generally buy into apocalyptic hype but I think that Obama is the most likely Antichrist candidate I've ever seen.

I think he is a wonderful orator. He has a distinct background and can stand out during an election. But his politics are too leftist for my taste.

He is just media hype. You really can't consider him for president. He is just a poster child for the minorities. He has a catchy sounding name and that's it. Obama is not and never will be able to lead our great nation.

Not enough political experience for a presidential candidate and he knows it. He won't last.
