The question is too vague to receive definitive answers. British Bachelor is meaningless unless you include the subject you read at University.

Do you have a B.A., B.Sc. or other defining qualification.

Taking the first, a B.A. is a Bachelor of Arts and may be obtained in Education, Theatre, Film and other fields.

Depends on the subject, but civil service, education management, that kind of thing will be more open to you with a degree. Often you need a degree to train further or get promoted higher.

Most jobs - its now the basic qualification for the Brits. Of course it depends what the degree is in and it would be wise to keep off the brain surgery if your degree is in aeronautical engineering. If all fails you can stack shelves at Tesco's most of them have drama or history degrees
