call microsoft and they can give you a current key.. the one you have could be expired. tell them you just bought the software and upon installing it told you the key was invalade and they can give you a new key

There should be an 800 # to call for assistance, either on the box or the last couple pages of your user manual. Explain exactly what happened and they should be able to fix the problem.
