Yeah MJ was only known for scoring 30 PPG. Never mind the 1988 Defensive Player of the Year and the 9 times he was elected to the ALL NBA Defensive first team. He also averaged over 5 assists per game for his career and 2 steals per game. And let's not forget that if he hadn't left the game for 2 years it would have been 8 rings in a row. And I won't even get into how much more talented the guys Magic played with were. MJ won his rings with a center rotation that included Bill Wennington, Bill Cartwright and Luc Longley. Other than Pippen and Rodman he made a bunch of role players into 6 time world champions...I think I'll take that over Magic.

this question is best All-Around which is why Jordan is not the answer for this question, either way, maybe he is best player of all time, but best all around player of all time, means someone who is excellent, at rebounding, stealing, assists, scoring, ft shootin, 3 pt shootin, and everything all round, doesn't mean scorin 30 PPG like Jordan, Kobe and Iverson r only known for, which is why answer is definately Magic Johnson, he's only player in history of NBA to play all 5 positions C, PF, SF, SG and PG all in 1 game, and has way more career Triple Doubles than anyone else, and yeah Jordan won 6 NBA Titles, Magic won 5, and he had way more competition in his era, facing Bird, Parish McHale and the Celts, and Isiah, Dumars, Laimbeer and the Bad Boys Pistons, and Jordan's era had no other contenders really, so Magic is by far best ALL-AROUND player ever

I believe the question was "All Around" Hakeem Olajuwon hands down. He was a stat sheet stuffer. The only player since him to record a 5 by 5 has been kirilenko.

Are you kidding Mike Jordan, only his D lacked. He took over many games and could win it by himself. In the future watch out for Kobe if he gets better and Josh smith if he keeps it up, he scores and defends, not to many players do that
