No they didn't at all. They were Romans but due to its location Pompeians were quite Hellenistic in their beliefs,lifestyle and culture and worshiped the Greek and Roman pantheons of Gods.
A temple to Isis an Egyptian Goddess has also been located.
Giving further evidence that the population was considered very cosmopolitan.
It does not appear that they ever envisioned a danger from Mount Vesuvius. Had they known there was an immanent danger of its eruption it is unlikely that many would have evacuated.
Pompeii appears to have been wrongly considered a relatively safe distance away from Mt. Vesuvius.

If they did or not is little meaning now, considering the entire city was wiped out by Vesuvius. I suppose the Gods thought there should have been a few more Human sacrifices to appease them, so they took everyone.
