I have bought expensive towels, but i have pulled threads in them and they are looking a bit old.. i only got them maybe a year ago. im a bit scared to cut it in case the whole thing falls apart..
can i cut them make them look nice again.. or that a big no no ? is there anther way?

Yes you can cut them off, first cut at the center of the loop then tye a knot with the strings.
If you have had them for a year, do not return them ans say you have only had them for six months, that's bad karma.

You can cut the threads that are sticking out. Don't pull them out cause that will make them look worse.

you are learning what i learned - price doesn't mean quality. take them back to where you bought them - dont' tell them you've had them for a year but six months, ask for an in store credit then try another brand.
