they seem to have transfused together, sort of becoming from each other,my best way to seperate them is by date, good ol country fried southern rock is between 68 and 76(except for molly hatchet, they seemed to stay till the early eighties, same for little featAlthough Little Feat and The Marshall Tucker Band with Charlie Daniels seemed to keep the country southern style with a heavy injection of blues based chords and rythyms
In short I'd say that they are all a little'bit the same and the lines to seperate them from each other, rock ,country rock, and blues are all blended into a mass of blurry vision and sound.

Country rock is the least likely of the three to have extended solos by musicians. Southern rock and Blues rock usually contain such long solos, especially on guitar, but sometimes harmonica, etc. Country rock songs are usually much shorter.

Blues rock is rarely upbeat or cheerful. Even when songs are not negative, the overall sound is less of a party-feel than the other two. Blues rock usually has the least vocals of the three.

Southern rock combines elements of country and blues, which are deep-fried into a swampy mixture.

Country rock: Eagles, Linda Ronstadt, Gram Parsons

Southern rock: Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Marshall Tucker Band

Blues rock: Stevie Ray Vaughan, Bonnie Raitt, Canned Heat

Of course, many artists excell in more than one style...
