When you have something to protect and to work for, is how I call being alive is. Maybe even to have your existence valued and acknowledge by others.

I think the most alive I have ever felt was in Vietnam when I was shot at and missed. It happened a number of times and I was always left well aware that I had a heart, could breath and that adrenalin was a very real and powerful substance.

While I found it to work splendidly, I do not recommend it be used on a routine basis.
