if there was not any child support ordered, how many men would be angry with the custody situation and care more about the best interest of the child?

I am a dad, and am ordered to pay support. I have no problem with that, what I do have a problem with is fighting to be a part of my childs life. It is truly discouraging to have found out that there is a lot of women out there that think men are just financial providers. Children need both parents, and studies have shown that children who had their paternal fathers in their life regularly, were better dealing with social issues than those without. Thats a very broad area, but it gives you an idea how important us daddys are. I have no sympathy for men who don't take part in their kids lives, nor do I have it for the women who fight to keep the childrens father away from them. They convince themselves that they are protecting the children, but are just emotionally damaging their kids. Lets start thinking best interest, and we all know emotional well being is something that you can NOT put a price on.

I would like to think most men.
i would want custody with or without child support. I may not have had to carry the child for 9 months but the child is my flesh and blood.
Who wouldn't want their child? It's a question of responsibility

I know a number of men who would want custody of their kids...and I know that their mother's would be willing to pay child support.

I would and I do already...My 3 children's mother and I have an agreement that she will get the kids there school supplies at the beggining of every year....Even if there wasn't any child support system we would still do this.
I love my kids very much and if I had the chance. I would do it again.

the thing about child support is that women get this money and can spend it on anything they will like to I think its a big joke.
