Of course it would have some pain involved. I have to ear tag my cavies, and they have thin ears, but it's painful for a second, but not afterwards. Piercing the belly is different! That spot would probably be sore afterwards, and it's probably going to really hurt when you get it. Piercing aren't hurt free. A needle is punching into your skin, to make a hole for a jewelry piece to go. Yes it's going to hurt, and I'd imagine more than ear piercing.
And I don't get why people want them so badly... I mean I'd get so tempted to yank it out! Ouch!

It only hurts for a minute, while the skin is pierced but then theres little to no pain in my opinion. However because of the location of the piercing you should NEVER EVER do it yourself, goto a professional piercing shop if you get one.

Yes but only for a few seconds while the needle goes in . It kind of burns. Then your stomach mucles may ache a couple days from where they put the clamp.

I was nervous too. You lay down, they just put a clamp in it, and it's sharp, but fast pain. Then they put a barbell through it, and you're done. It is sore for a while. I couldn't bend over, but my family just made fun of me. In the end, it's worth it. If you are allowed to get it.

it doesn't hurt that much but if you get it infected it will.
