sally field----one of her best performance
olympia dukokas----hysterically funny
julia roberts----the weakest link
shirley mac clain-----oscar worthy performance
dolly pardon-----sad character, very convincing
annelle---(can't remember her real name)----no need to even be in the movie
tom scarrot---duffis
movie itself----A+ should have been nominated for best picture.

I love that movie!!!! I can almost quote the entire movie. What does the IQ of the characters have to do with anything?
