Not only do they not work half the time, but now thumbs up/down ratings that were made successfully to some of the recent answers are no longer there.

Yes I can no longer thumbs down a particularly bad answer I think the powers that be just want us to report people and I don't report anyone except in case of emergency

Everyone had the same problem the other day....mine is working fine now... I just gave every body a thumbs up, so we will see if these disappear too!

omgosh I that I was having a problem with my computer! Really, now they're gonna take away the thumbs for the answers! I can't stand yahoo lately! I like giving thumbs up to good answers and thumbs down to shiity ones! Dammn the Yahoo Police!

Yeah, as quickly as I replied a query previously I had 2 thumbs up and a pair of thumbs down. I checked 2 minutes later and that i only had a million thumb up and no thumbs down. Kerry broke Yahoo.
