In haven't seen it but based on the name "Steel Magnolias' I reckon the acting is probably a bit rubbish and cheesy

The characters in steel magnolias all did an extremely good job. Whether Scotland/Ireland have these types, well, you'll have to ask yer Mum.

Hiya, I love Steel Magnolias, i cried and cried when Julia Roberts died. The acting was really good, there are some fantastic actresses in this film. A great family film.

I just saw it a couple of nights ago for the first time. I loved it. The beautiful thing about it is you can transplant it into ANY culture and it works. It has a human quality for all.

there are lovely women everywhere! and mothers always try to be beaky in their daughters lives - all around the worls - GRRR!

yes of course they do, I loved them I am from London and live din Cornwall too, there are kind, intelligent and supportive women everywhere

I was applauding when Julia Roberts died. She was so damn annoying. They told her she would die if she got pregnant, she got pregnant, she died. Why feel sorry for her?
