Don't ask how the marker got there... I am sure other parents understand. Is there anything that can be used to get permanent marker out of the seat of corduroy pants.

I have always used hairspray to remove ink from my clothes. It doesn't matter what kind (aersol, pump, etc.). Saturate the stain and gently and carefully scrub with a washcloth, rinse.

I have removed permanent ink from markers, from hard sufaces with rubbing alcohol, also once removed it from blue jeans. Use it with caution, some dyes in some clothes aren't as adhearing as others, try it like on the inside of the waist of the pants to see if the color will fade or change. Alcohol works well as any ink remover on sharpie brand markers. Good Luck.

u could try soaking it in Oxiclean. If you don't have any, rub some type of cleaner, dish soap, spray n' wash, or even 409 into the dyed parts. Let it soak overnight. Make sure you wash the shirt and don't dry it until the spots are removed. Drying in the dryer tends to set the stains. In the future, make sure you put some kind of drape around you when dying your hair. It can be very hard to remove.

I work in a commercial laundry, and believe me when I say that ink of any kind is a real pain in a*se to get out. You could try any of the suggestions offered by other people, or you can go to a chemical supplier and ask for ink remover.

One thing you must not do before treating it is wash it, cause that locks in the stain.
