Skip the fake eyelashes. Go to a major department store that sells lines of makeup, like Nordstroms or Macy's and get a free make-over the day of the dance. I suggest Clinique...but I am sure any counter would do a great job for you. Good luck!

dont use too much eyelash glue! it gets ichy and can distract you from a great time. also, test the glue on your eyes to make sure you arent allergic, that could be tragic for your magical night. ive seen girls with black dresses and WHITE makeup. its Unattractive. try and keep it classy and not too showy. guys like natural beauties anways, but its alright to wear makeup for fun! just play it safe. try a few ideas before that night so you arent spending your "getting ready time" taking off the makeup you messed up on.

*also put your fake eyelashes on BEFORE your eyeliner, or eyeshadow. it will keep the glue stuck longer. you CAN put mascara on the fake eyelashes if you want. it doesnt hurt them.

Have fun!

Do your hair last. Once you do your hair DON'T FIDDLE WITH IT!!!
It will look great and just perfect. Don't fiddle with your dress when you have it on and that should be the last thing you put on.
wear comfy shoes and keep the makeup simple.
[Hint; If you kiss-proof normal lipstick and then put lip gloss over it, it will keep the lippy from rubbing of and will make it glitter!]
Don't use dark foundation for light skin for a tan because it doesn't work and HAVE FUN!!
