Anything news-worthy to report from this sorely under-funded, under appreciated and mostly mis-understood organization ?

Thanks for asking,

I've got the BOINC manager with the SETI@home project running constantly just waiting for a "hit" telling me that E.T. is phoning my home.
Want to search for E.T.? Volunteers needed:

Aside from the "WHOA!" signal years ago? Nada mucho.

Our instruments are not yet sensitive enough, there are just too many stars and jeez, we've only been seriously at it for about 1o years.

We need ears and eyes on the dark side of the moon, with the sensitivity to eavesdrop on quiet leakage radio signals instead of high-powered directed beacons. We should also try and branch out into optical signal detection.

We can only hope that one day they will be successful.
I don't know if it would change us but it would sure answer the question "Are we alone" Which we aren't!
