It is not as prevalent as it is among women. I'm sure we've all seen fat, ugly guys hitting on good-looking women plenty of times, but how often do you see a fat chick hitting on some Adonis? I think part of the reason for this disparity is the proliferation of beautiful women, often revealing beautiful bodies, in the media. It's enough to make many women feel inferior. There just aren't as many guys featured (with or without clothes).

I think that guys go through the same inadequate feelings toward their bodies as women do only they don't talk about it in the locker room like females do their to busy talking about sports and all the women that they tell their buddies they scored with but only dream about her even talking to them

yes and it is very common. They have Manarexia for cryin' out loud. I think it's more so now these days because men are more..."metrosexual". These are very self loving days we have here...sad though.

Yes, very prevalent, we just man-up about it. Ihave gained weight, I know it, I'm gonna lose weight or deal, the end.
