i just can't play a .rar video file pls help me

.rar files are a form of compressed files, similar to .zip. You would first need to download winrar which you can get from http://www.rarlab.com/ . You can also try 7zip, http://www.7-zip.org/ which does a wide variety of unzipping. Both of these programs can unzip or extract .zip and .rar. so once you download the software, you will need to install, then once you install it, try opening the file yo uwere trying to ope, it should open in one of the programs mentioned above. once this is done, you can either extract it to your computer by selecting the file the clicking the extract button, (saving to wherever you want). Or you can just open the file directly from the program.(note: if you open directly from the program, it will not save the file as the movie format onto your computer, rather it would just stay as a .rar).

Rar is a compression format like Zip.
U need to extract the files using something like winrar before u try to play them.
