Everybody has their own opinions on tattoos. Some like them, some don't. Personally I think it depends on the person and the design. If you have a pretty design on a female and it looks good, then yeah, it can be sexy, however, if you're a person who dislikes tattoos it's not going to matter what the design is, or the placement, you won't like it. Tattoos are as individual as fingerprints.... you can have the same tattoo on 2 different people, in the same spot, and one may look better than another.
If you're thinking about getting on and you're asking if it's sexy because you want to know if you should do it, think about 2 things: A) Will you still like it 10 years down the road? and B) Are you doing this because it's something you want to do for you or because somebody is wanting you to get it done for them?
Tattoos are perminant so think about them carefully before getting them... Use your own judgement on what you get and where and above all else remember, the only persons opinion that matters is your own!

First and foremost, it all depends on what the tattoo is. I have one about 3/4 of the way down my back, small and tastefull.
I personally think tattoos on the lower back is sexy, but not everyone thinks that way. In the end it comes down to your personal choice. Your gonna be the one that has to live with that tattoo the rest of your life.
And before asking people if tats on the lower back are sexy, keep in mind... different strokes for different folks

it depends. i know a lot of people who melt at the sight of a lower back tatoo. on the other hand it isn't very original. plus it has been given the nick name the "tramp stamp". but really if you are going to get a tatoo i think it should be because you want it not just because it's sexy. that has regret written all over it.

It's hard to say. Some think it's trashy; others find it sexy. Some think tattoos in general are trashy while others find them very appealing. It's a personal preference.

These types of tattoos are certainly very trendy right now, that's for sure.

Oh, and there's the good ol' nickname for these tattoos: "tramp stamp" that you should be mindful of. :-)

Honestly, i think it has gone out of style. sometimes, its almost trashy. tattoos can be classy and rebellious at the same time, but most of the time provocative tattoos are not the way to attract guy's attentions. if you are really wanting a tattoo that is eye catching, try one that's more classy and subtle, rather than loud and crazy. =]

my husband and his friends say women who have those are considered "women who sleep around" shall we say...and that they are never taken seriously....who knows what one guy will like and what another one will not......me personally i dont have any tattoos because i think they are trashy and i wouldnt want my daughter to ruin her body by getting one.....that is my personal opinion though.

if you want to see if you like it try a temp or henna tattoo first :)
