You're on the internet, you couold have typed that into google and gotten an answer immediately. Shouldn't this forum be used more creatively?

I thought I was the only one. I think some want attention, or think its funny. It can be difficult to ignore them, but, just help those you can that seem to have a real question.
It helps to know that some here take your question seriously, doesn't it?

some people are not aware of how to find the information or how search engines work. ever trained a group of employees on software, database and internet usage? you'd be surprised at the gaps in understanding from one person to the next ... even in a group of people that own PCs.

what i find less than creative and somewhat boring are the "rants" ... people seem to go to certain sections just to fight and argue their points. the only listening done is to hear a spot to attack the opponent. it's definitely not a Q&A forum. no thinking allowed.

use your creativity to inspire others ... or start visiting other countries sites. sometimes the change of landscape gives the needed r&r.

Because most people aren't creative and many are dopamine challenged, lazy and bored.

With Yahoo Answers a person can type a question and almost instantly get an answer back. Surfing the web requires effort and research.

You should take a look at my questions. I think they're quite creative and interesting.

Sometimes it's better to get an answer from someone who has been through the situation before. You get different perspectives that way.

Just skip them if it bothers you. People like to help others. I agree that they could have done the search for their answer themselves, but hey, it's not that serious.
