I saw this question yesterday, read the prior three answers, and visited the site. I also concluded that it was a parody. But, to my absolute horror, it is NOT satirical! Even worse, the website's founder, Marshall Hall, has support of Rep. Ben Bridges, a Georgia state lawmaker (someone with influence) who is trying to pass legislation dealing with science education!
Check out the three attached news stories and prepare to be dumbfounded and scared. Yes, there are people who really believe that stuff--and some of them actually have some power and influence. Angels and ministers of grace defend us!

Hahaha... yeah, that's obviously a parody website. Either that or the guy that made it is totally insane. It was a little entertaining, but mostly just absurd.
edit:
Seriously, there is no way that somebody would believe the crap on that website. If I were a creationist I'd be offended by how stupid that website makes creationism sound. Most of the "evidence" is actually contradicting creationism. It's a parody website....
edit #2....
Wow, thanks Jacob. I'm shocked that somebody could believe that crap (though I probably shouldn't be). The fact that it got the attention of a state legislator is just plain sickening. It was actually that nonsense about Kabbalah that originally convinced me the site was a parody... how sad. Thanks for doing the minimal research that I should have done right away to find out if this site was really a parody or not. I guess I just believed what I wanted to believe - that nobody could be that insane and be allowed to use the internet unsupervised. Anyway, thanks again...

AGGGGGHHHH! No, it isn't a parody. This guy claims to have an MA and used to teach in high school. If true, it is another sad example of how many 'educated' people in this country are so absolutely stupid.
The "cycle" that the first poster mentioned is called the "Precession of the Equinox". Astronomers label the point that the path of the Sun through the zodiacal constellations (called the ecliptic) crosses the celestial equator as zero on celestial maps. This is the vernal equinox. It is currently in the constellation of Pisces but moves slowly through all the zodiacal constellations over time - about 26,000 years. It is moving into Aquarius.
To say we are moving into the "beginning" of the cycle is somewhat arbitrary - who, besides the Aztecs, says Aquarius is the beginning??

I hate it when people mix the bible with science. Even if it is true, they sound to much like preachers/mad scientists.
I believe that global warming is happening. I believe that we could very well go through some major changes.
Edgar Cayce predicted many things, and he predicted that the earth axis will tilt more, and that the whole earth will have to re-configure it self.
Also, on 2012, the earth will have completed a full "wobble". The earth spins on its axis, and tilts back and forth, and the last time the earth completed a wobble was like hundreds of thousands of years ago.
Search up the mayan prophecy, AMAZING stuff.

Unfortunatly, the site is not a parody. It is the kind of crap we allow ourselves to be exposed to in order to have freedom of speach. There have always been lunatics who get attention by being able to shout loudly enough to be heard.
The only thing that really concerns me is that the people in Georgia elected a simplton like Bridges who goes along with the puke on that website. Maybe on the next election cycle, they'll wise up and see what fools he has made of the electorate there.

Nope, just a bunch of neo-Nazi's who would rather bury their heads in the sand with their imaginary friend that deal with the real world. If you think evolution is a myth, that the morning after pill is murder, the world is only 5,000 years old, that Jewish people are out to get you and that there is a happy place is the clouds where all your wishes will come true, than you might be a Christian-conservative.

I'd expect some humour if it was supposed to be a parody. It's just a rant.
