I generally like comedy, horror and dramatic films. Is The Devil Wears Prada too much of a chick flick or would I appreciate it?

Well, you might....I conned my step-brother into going to see it with me, and Zack is not a chick flick movie kinda guy. He's very much into sports and all things manly-man, but, he really liked it. I was pleasantly surprised, because I thought I'd have to make it up to him, but he liked it. Not only that, but he admits to other people that he went to see it and liked it!
Yeah, it's a typical chick flick, but it's pretty good.
So, here's whatcha do...go rent it and watch it on a night when you're alone. If you hate it, you don't have to mention that you watched it. If you like it, then you can be like Zack and admit that you liked it. It's also a good conversation piece for you with girls :)

It's a total chick flick. I recommend you actually try the book first.

I would not recommend it to you.. It's too much for me, a girl who enjoys a chick flick now and then. There were some enjoyable parts, but mostly it was too... ehh.
