What are your hobbies?

Today my friend and I were thinking about all the things there are to do out there. I realized I don't want live my life without having gone skydiving, river rafting, or horse back riding. There are so many things to do-- from the hundreds of card and boards games to the sports we have never even heard of. Some people spend most of their days golfing or fishing, or playing video games. But how does one choose these sorts of life-long hobbies? What are yours? I think it can be based mostly on location (climate) and one's income as well. Personally I love to read, snowboard, play chess, play trumpet, but most of all I love to travel - but even with traveling there are so many different places to visit, and so many things to do at each place- the activities and cuisine, etc. If you're so willing, please note your hobbies and feel free to describe in detail anything interesting about them-facts and stories and such.Do you prefer to do hobbies involving many friends, or things you do alone?

My hobbies are as follows, pipe smoking, collecting tobacco pipes, horses, horseback riding, hockey, computers, cars, women, camping, guns, photography and motorcycles.

I have lots of hobbies I do everyday. I do drawing of some imaginary girls and draw dresses, I love playing board games such as Scrabble and Monopoly, I play piano and I compose my own songs, I play with my friends when I am free, I read many story books in which I learn many important facts in day-to-day life, I also travel during holidays and I love visiting places, I watch cartoons, I like trying out new food. I like everybody involving in my hobbies and I have lots of fun doing this.

well not sure if you are man or woman. well anyhow i love to knit and do crafts. I love to knit and have several items i do in the winter only. Then i do some croqueting. but i dont' know how to read that type of patterns. so its when someone shows me stuff i like i do it. i can remember what i like.
I like to travel. the thing with traveling there are so many things to see here in the U.S.. I mean you have to really get moving. I like haunted places for instance. i dont' know what you are interested in. Now i live near san antonio. there are many places here in town for that here and there are many places north east also. I am by the way from michigan. now i have not been north east michigan some of the south and parts around and Hawaii. so you can see little stuff such as places that are noted or drive and stop and see friends if you have some. i have had some friends show us Baton Rouge. it was interesting we ate alligator there and saw the University there and mascot. Lets see like you mentioned board games. they are fun cards are fun. i play alot of different card games. Reading is good i like only stephen king books though i have ot have something to keep me reading and on the edge and he does that. I love animals. i like seeing animals they have some places where they have some like a zoo only they aren't in zoo. i love zoos and just plain so much you can make lists and see as many as you can per year and go from there with such subjects you are interested int. I prefer to see these things with hubby but sometimes a friend can be with us. it just depends on where we are. i love grave yards and also the net has alot to offer. findagrave.com is neat place to look. My dads name is marland sanday you look up the cemetery and then the name you type which is our lady of grace and tx and la coste then you can see my dad and mom mom is still with us neat and there are where you can put your loved ones if you didn't have them on there by simply adding or finding the grave site they are in.

My hobby involves playing the piano, writing music, collecting postcards, collecting table napkins, collecting coke cans (different prints/countries), collecting coins, collecting hotel soaps.

I know have more, but I can't think of anymore right now. :D

I enjoy geneology, computer card games, amateur dramatics, I have been in 7 productions with my local drama society, reading fiction (usually a romance) watching romance or comedy movies. Most of these are solitary activities as I have a career which involves members of the public, so downtime is alone time which I need to de-stress.

I think chosing a life long hobby is finding something you love doing, and something that brings you joy. If you are lucky you get to get a pay check for doing a hobby... *one can dream*.. If I could I would get paid to Paint, knit, read, appriciate coffee, watch movies.... I think the list could go on. my Hobbies do change from day to day, but there are a few that never leave, like reading, music, and painting..

I love playing the piano, cooking, crocheting, reading, and knitting. I prefer hobbies that I can do alone. As a mother and a wife alone time is hard to come by so I love spending it doing something I love.

I collect Fiesta Ware for resale, but I love the stuff so much that I can't part with any of it.

go sailing like a pirate- swim w/ crocidlies like the crocidile hunter, feed sharks, play chess, go ride a train, run a mile a day, explore the globe....TRAVEL!!!! take advantage of every oppurtuniy, join habitat for humanity, help out kids in hospitals, be a firefighter, cross country ski, figure skate, go watch an NBA game, donate your blood, read Ivanhoe, bunjee jump, pogo stick, unicycle, juggle, make a card house, a long domino chain, beat the guiness world record for the number of spoons that can go on your face....THERE ARE MILLIONS OF POSSIBILITES>>JUST MAKE SURE YOU GRABEM IN TIME!!!! I like reading (I read very much), I like computers, I like travelling, I like to learn foreign languages. And I collect many things: phone cards, stamps and napkins.
