It's like you can't try to fix one problem with out realizing that there is another problem that has caused the first problem, and it just keeps going... we've really tied ourselves up in knots... that's what I think anyway!

Dealing with many issues for solutions can create a feeling of helplessness so its better to place yourself in a position of being a part of the solution rather than being indifferent to it or being part of the problems. Don'r expect to be the only solution and you will avoid being part of the problem.

Absolutely. I used to be crippled by depression about how messed up our society is. But now I am a Mom and I HAVE to have hope and faith and be in the moment. What I find works is going into the forest, to the beach, to somewhere that helps remind me of the big picture, and to connect to something bigger than myself. It reminds me of how resilent nature is, and how there are forces at work that we don't really understand (I don't really mean this in a spiritual sense--just that the cycles of life are incrdible). What I believe is we have to create circles of good. So much has been damaged, broken, thrown off balance. So all we can do on a daily basis is heal, restore, reconnect through love and kindness and living with the earth in mind. It's so easy to shut off from each other and from the joy and beauty and wonder all around us--but when we really start to notice and listen and appreciate, we are filled with more joy and wonder, and that resonates and helps create more good in the world. I believe this, although I forget it sometimes. But whenever I remember to see the world this way, it really really helps. Be well! Breathe. Step back. Give love. Accept love. And things will look better!

Absolutely. It keeps me awake a night sometimes, especially after watching the 11 o'clock news. I try not to let it worry me, because what I see on the news is beyond my control. However, I get angry when I see the vicious cycle and wonder why the leaders of the world keep making the same mistakes over and over hoping to get different results. As a matter of fact - isn't that one of the signs of mental illness? Also, I don't know about these other heads of state - but in school I was taught - those who don't remember history are doomed to repeat it - and that's what's happening now - mistakes and bad decisions are constantly be repeated. When will these heads of state learn?
