My friend and I are having a debate, He says there are 10 mcdonalds in Delaware, I say there are 82 who is right help us please thanks.

I would think there are more than ten, but cannot confirm it.
I remember ages ago the McDonald's website had a state-by-state figure in their restaurant locator.
It's no longer there.
I can only suggest you email them a query.
They would have this information readily at hand.
I have done similar things before with major companies and they have always responded.
You can email, write or (1800) phone them.

There must be more then ten. I can think of at least 3 in Dover, 1 in Georgetown, 1 in Selbyville, 2 in Rehoboth, 1 in Millsboro, at least 3 in Newark, 1 in Christiana, 1 in Bear. That's 13 already. Who knows how many there are in Wilmington. I'm going to bet there aren't 82 though.

there are more than 10 because i worked at one while in high school and the owners had at least 11 in DE and that was not all in the state

I don't know but both sites that I've looked at (listed below) varied from 15-38. And www.mcdonalds.com/usa doesn't list them all.
