A mixture of white vinegar and baking soda can do the job. Lightly moisten the interior of your oven with water. You can use a spray bottle to do this. Then, apply a thick layer of baking soda. Allow the baking soda to sit for about three hours.

After three hours, spray the entire oven with white vinegar in a spray bottle. You will notice that when the vinegar hits the baking soda, fizzing occurs. This fizzing action helps remove stuck-on mess AND the smell of the oven almost as easily as any commercial cleaner. Allow the vinegar and baking soda to sit for a few more hours. Then, simply remove with a damp sponge and some water.

Try this. Fill a pan about half full of water and add a couple of tablespoons of baking soda. Put the pan in a medium hot oven and let it come to a boil for a few minutes. Take the pan out and let the oven cool off enough to wipe it down with a damp cloth. I've had good luck with this method.

When you are going to be gone for awhile put a big bowl of vinegar in your oven let it sit all day if possible. I've heard this from other people, But i do believe in vinegar a big odor eater .

i agree with the bowl of vinegar. make sure the bowl is glass and leave it in over night. this will also help get any baked on hard to get off stuff left after a normal cleaning.

put a cup of white vinegar in it, and run it a min at a time. that should do it, if you then want to get rid of the vinegar smell put a tablespoon of vanilla in a cup and heat it in there a min.
