A sinus infection. Your sinuses run from the roof of your mouth up into you forehead and all behind your eyes and ears. Tis is the season... As long as what is running is not colored (green, yellow, pink), You don't have high fevers (102+) and doesn't go beyond 5-7 days, I wouldn't worry much. If you have any of those symptoms you'll need to see your doctor to possibly prescribe an antibiotic. In the mean time try not to take anything for the symptoms (as long as you can stand that). When you take Tylenol or other cold medicines you stop your body's natural way of getting rid of the infection (runny nose is trying to flush it's self as is your eye, and a fever is supposed to help burn off infection in a way) stopping these uncomfortable side effects only prolongs the healing process. But, a fever shouldn't get so high it's dangerous so take Tylenol or Motrin if your really uncomfortable. Other than that, take plenty of Vitamin C and maybe a nice steamy shower to loosen up the sinuses and aide draining. ----Just an easy possibility. Anyone can catch a cold. Hope you feel better!

Tic Douloureux was my first guess as well. But then I really think it may be another condition called Bell's Palsy. Bell's palsy also effects a cranial nerve..the seventh one to be exact. Symptoms of Bell's Palsy are as follows: The syptoms develop in a few hours or over one to two days.Facial pain, pain behind the ear numbness, diminished blink reflex, drooping of the eyelid, and tearing on the affected side occur. Speaking and chewing become difficult. If you go to the doctor they will start you on steriods, that is the best action you can take. Bells palsy can last for three months or more. The faster you start therapy the shorter the duration. I would see your doctor asap to be evaluated. Bells palsy is not life threatening but it is painful and bothersome as well as disfiguring until you get over the virus ( it is thought to be a result of a virus) So see your doctor ...good luck!

Sounds like a sinus cold or infection. It can affect one side of your face without even touching the other. The congestion is probably right below your eye, headache on one side of the head, and totally clogged. Go to Walgreens and ask the pharmicist to recommend a good sinus tablet and if you drive, make sure you get the non-drowsy kind.

Sounds like a sinus infection or you may have gotten a food particle stuck in your sinus. You may need anti biotics if it is that infected.
Good luck clearing. I hope you can get to a doc for antibiotics.
My daughter had this a few times.

It could be a cluster headache or possibly complicated migraine. Cluster headaches are more common in middle aged men who smoke.
Your doctor should be able to differentiate and treat effectively.
