Nike Lebron 4 shoes....?

the fabric on my nike lbj4 shoese tore when my ankle rolled...is this normal?

If you tore ligaments in your ankle then the fabric should tear, that is unless you believe that the fabric is stronger then your ligaments. If that is the case then you shouldnt be playing basketball anyways.
