they are hard and when stopped suddenly then the gear dont change till i move the bike. which i have to do by my feet. thats irritates my riding pleasure. is there a problem with the gearbox or engine. how do i solve the problem and get a smoother gear shift.

Get it checked by the company otherwise it will be become a bi-cycle. and u will have to ride it by ur feets

Try adjusting the clutch.It's done at the clutch hub.You'll see a stud with a jam nut.
