I think it's never too late to start a new career through studying. I was doing a course a couple of years ago and there was an 80-year-old lady studying towards a degree. Why not? Why shouldn't you go back to school to study something new?

Theoretically, there is nothing wrong with it. In reality, you must consider how you will deal with a bunch of young people, many really just kids who can vote and drive. It can be great, as I have experienced. The other thing to consider is, 40 is right around the corner, and you really want to make sure that you have your retirement and health plans in order. That also should not stop you, as long as you really are ready for it, and not having some momentary midlife crisis.

Go for it! If you've got the interest and motivation, you're halfway there!
Plus, these days, institutions of higher learning are very supportive of students like you. You're probably in a way better position to get scholarship money, too.
Also, in case you haven't noticed, there are a ton of schools with evening/weekend programs for working adults, and many offer online courses (or online courses in combination with a few classroom days). Schools are making it easier for people who are "going back" to school, and who may have families and careers that prevent them from going to school full-time during the day.
Best of luck to you!!!

Of course not! It's never too late to go back to school. One plus to being a little older is that they often get taken more seriously than their younger counterparts. Go for it! I think it's cool!

Absolutely not. You get the best education you can. If this is your dream, go for it. It is never too late to get an education. Good luck...

It's never too late to go back to school.
There are people who go back to school at 70 for medicine or law.
