Christopher Lee. When I was a kid it was always great trying to sleep after watching him at work.
A couple of his old Hammer Dracula movies were on the idiot box here again in last year or two. One of them was almost half over before Lee himself finally appeared on screen, the menace was there though. Then there was the one where he later said the dialogue he was given was so bad he refused to speak in the movie...and he still carried it.

Bela Lugosi was the scariest, Christopher Lee was the most intimidating and commanding, Frank Langella the handsomest and most appealing to women, and Gary Oldman was the one with the most psychological issues. Oh, and that bald Nosferatu guy with the nails that could have used a manicure was just plain cheesy.

Bela Lugosi and Christopher Lee where the best to actors who played Dracula because old black and white films are scarier than the ones done in color

Bela Lugosi was (and still is) the classic portrayer of Bram Stoker's vampire--His almost hypnotic presence, his genuine Eastern European accent, the role of mystical nobility he brought to the role are still unsurpassed.
Christopher Lee's portrayal of Dracula in Horror of Dracula brought a chilling sensuality to the role, together with his dynamic, feral menace.
These two are the tops.

i admire the previous video clips, yet by no potential cared for Lugosi's Drac. Lee replaced into extra desirable. call me loopy... yet my very sought after replaced into Gary Oldman in Bram Stoker's Dracula. yet purely for the 1st 40 5 minutes, in the Transylvania scenes. Oldman replaced into incredibly genius, he confident me.
