out of all things in the world we humans are like the only things with no natural defenses. I mean other things have camoflauge, colossal strenght, crazy speed, giant tusks, horns. We have nothing cool like that. Although we have THE THUMB :-D its not nearly as cool as some other things we could have... i mean an anaconda has like (if i remember correctly) ~5000 muscles where as the tiny human arm has only 5... c'mon, yes the thumb AND human brain is amazing but couldnt we get just another bonus like mor musles or spikes or something? what you guys think about this?

I think wings would have been really nice. Ive heard though that in order to support the muscles for wings our breastbone would have to be 6 feet in front of us.
Imagine being able to jump 50 or 60 feet at a time? Or if we descended from Giraffe's instead of apes? A nice skunk spray would be cool

We used to have claws and sharper teeth. Before "civilization, we had trim muscular bodies built for speed and stamina, fight or flight. But we don't need and hardly use what we are potential of. Our brains make us superior to the animals. Now we are couch potatoes and drive a block to the store.

You're wrong, of COURSE we have natural defenses. Ask a mouse if we're not "strong". You got fingernails? You got hands and feet for hitting? You got teeth? You got legs for running? Of course we have physical defenses.

If you're disappointed we're not as strong as gorillas or that we don't have big triceratops horns, nothing strange about it -- we evolved big brains, which allowed us to rely more on wits than brawn and still reproduce successfully.

We have a brain and have invented my tools to protect ourselves with. Give me a greanade and an anaconda, and I will win the fight.

Apparently, opposable thumbs and brains are quite enough.

There are a lot of primates that are not much better off defensively than we are, but, like us, they are coalitional animals.
