ok would downloading a game from limewire be a good idea?

Its not a good idea. You don't know who is uploading the games and any viruses, spyware etc they have is going to be transferred into your computer. Music files don't carry viruses depending on the size of the file, normally they aren't big enough to carry a virus. People have had their computers destryoed because of viruses from downloading for this reason.
Some games also require you have the game disc's or codes, so they won't always work.

You can download a game on limewire, but you can't sell it to anyone or that'll be illegal. So yes you can download a game on limewire.

ive never done it but I use it for music, if you have antivirus software as soon as its done downloading and its a bad file a anti-virus message should come up and tell you

if you have virus software, it'll tell you if what you've downloaded is a virus when you try to open it. so i'd say go for it and see what happens.
