Ok so I have hair that will not curl for 1,000,000 dollars. My eyelashes look like horse eyelashes haha. Literally. Is there any way I can fix that or am I stuck with them for life? I do curl them but they often just come undone...is there any way to make them stay?
Thanks for your help!!

Definitely eyelash perming- I have super long eyelashes but they are very straight yet most of my clients comment on how beautiful my lashes are. This is because a lot of them do not realise that I have them permed regularly.
Most beauty salons will perform eyelash perming. It costs about AU $50 and includes an eyelash tint which will help them appear darker. When having them done they will use a curling rod which is suitable for the length of your lashes and this will determine the tightness of the curl.
Make sure that you tell them how curly you would like them. Once I have my permed I still always use mascara and slightly curl my lashes with an eyelash curler.
If you do not want to have them permed then:
**ALWAYS CURL YOUR LASHES AFTER YOU HAVE APPLIED MASCARA!!! Curl them twice at the roots for 5 seconds each time, then once in the middle and then once on the ends of your lashes, and then apply a little bit more mascara using very gentle strokes so that you do not un curl the work that you have just done. Use a mascara that is not too thick or your lashes will be weighed down and wont stay up and curled and don't use the eyelash curler until the mascara has set.
Make sure that you clean your eyelash curler regularly and replace the pads whenever necessary.
I hope this has helped you and I am sorry that this answer has dragged on a bit

Ok so all you Need to Do Is Buy A Like 50 cent eyelash curler run it under the blowdryer for 5-10 seconds (dpending on the tepmerature of the drier) then clamp eyelashes down. Then take the curler and make it horizontal. Then use mascara with a curved brush and you are good to go. Also, a really dark blue eyeliner will add 10 times more volune to your lashes

So you curl them with an eyelash curler right?! So that normally works but try this.
So continue doing that, so that they get a little bit of the idea that they should be curling :)
THEN:
Use Mary Kay's lash lengthening Mascara. When applying, and when you reach the end of your lash with the wand give it a little push back onto your lashes as if to curl them.
Good luck
p.s. Do you know what most Mascara's are made of?
Answer: TAR...why would we use tar...that is used on the road and our roof's for our eyelashes,
Well MARY KAY MASCARA USES BEES WAX :) So it's light, and easy to apply with NO clumping, and our Mascara wand is designed to give you no more than you need for both eyes just with one dip of the wand!

I'd recommend eyelash perming. I've tried it and it lasts for about 1 month. Id recommend it to anyone with eyelashes actually! But if you have longer eyelashes, it'll look much prettier too! You wont need to use eyelash curlers anymore. Its not too expensive too. You need to have it done at a beauty salon & it takes about an hour plus. The beautician will 1st apply some chemicals to your eyelashes to soften it. After that they'll use some other chemical similar to the one they ppl use to get their hair permanently permed but gentler, the smell can be strong though but only lasts a few hours. If you get it done, you'll even wake up to curled eyelashes! Strongly recommend it!

I had the same problem. I curl my lashes then put on a layer of lengthening (in your case you may need volumizing) mascara then I curl them once more. Sometimes I stop at the bathroom during the day to curl them again real quick. Hope this helped a little. =)

Okay this sounds ridiculous, but get one of those metal eyelash curlers, and before you curl your lashes, use a blow dryer to heat it up. Use caution!!! Don't heat it for too long, and MAKE SURE you test the temp with your finger before touching it to your eye! Trust me, it burns nicely!! But yeah, it took me a few tries to get the hang of it, so don't get discouraged if they look not quite right the first time, but I've found that it stays a lot better this way.

Curl them before you apply mascara. Use a curl mascara, like L'Oreal Le Grand Curl Mascara, and comb after you apply.
