If you use condoms EVERY time, then most likely NO.
But whenever you have sex there is always a chance. Since you stopped the BC you may be regulating your body now. Good luck. It may take a while. 3 mths-a yr or so

Some spotting could be from implantation bleeding if on the happen chance you did get pregnant...Although not likely. (Implantation is where the egg after fertilization burrows into the uterine lining sometimes causing spotting) However, since you said you used protection every time, the spotting is most likely just due to your cycle being disrupted by the hormone switch and should go back to your natural cycle shortly. I was told it could take anywhere to 2 to 6 months to re-regulate when I stopped the pill abruptly. But...to put your mind at ease I like the other ladies here, would suggest doing a preg test to make absolutely sure- just wait till about 2 weeks after your spotting episode to make sure the test won't read a false negative. Most home pregnancy tests won't detect the Hcg levels until the day after your missed period. Make sure it's enough time past "late" before testing. Otherwise your wasting your money on a test that won't work yet. Good luck and try not to worry, it's probably just your cycle working it's way out.
By the way, a blood test will not detect it either until a certain time period and that's usually only shortly before a home test will. Plus it's a good bit more expensive and troublesome.--Besides who likes to be stuck, I'd rather wait 5-10 days and pee on a stick!

You are probably just a little off track from stopping the birth control. Good for you for using condoms! But if you don't get your period in a couple weeks you should take a home pregnancy test or see your doctor.

for some people when they take birth control and then stop taking it, it takes a while a few months for the body to get back 2 the way it is without taking it. i had stopped birth control and gotten pregnant right away, and also had stopped taking it another time, and didnt have any periods, and didnt get pregnant either, for each woman its different though, just go get a test.

I'm concerned that you went to the doctor with those questions and they didn't do a pregnancy test. If you're spotting, chances are it's just taken a while for your body to adjust back to not having the medication but I'd see your doc again if you're not sure.

Sometimes stopping birth control can screw up your cycle...
I would go to the doctor to make sure, or take a test.
Good luck.

I would give it a little while. Don't trick yourself into thinking your pregnant though because if you do you will trick your mind and body into thinking your pregnant and start having all the symtoms. Its called the plecebo affect.
