How do you know 'the bad things happen to good people'? If we see a bit deeper, there are 'good' and 'bad' side of every situation we face every day.
I read a story like this:
Once upon a time, there was a farmer living with his only young son and his only horse. One day, his horse ran away to the hills. All his neighbors comforted him, and said how unlucky he was. But he just answered:"Lucky and unlucky, who knows?"
Ten days later, his horse came back and brought the whole flock to the farmer's land. His son was very happy. His neighbors congratulated him and said how lucky he was. Again, he just answered: "Lucky and unlucky, who knows?"
Three days later, his son tried to ride one of the horse. But that horse was still wild, and threw him to the ground. He broke his leg. Again, all neighbors comforted him, and said how unlucky he was. But again, he just answered:"Lucky and unlucky, who knows?"
One week later, an army officer came to the village and told all villagers that all young men had to go to army, because there was a war. This young man, since he was unable to walk, was exempted. One month later, they received news telling that all men from the village that went to army died in a fierce battle. Everybody cried, except this farmer. All said to the farmer how lucky he was. He just answered: "Lucky and unlucky, who knows?"

Because life is random, there is no such thing as fate or pre-ordained plan, bad things happen to ALL people because of coincidence, Murphy's Law, and random acts of nature and people.
When the tectonic plates crash into each other and cause human calamities, are they worried about who's good and bad? Don't make me laugh. To think that good people are protected or somehow immune to the laws of nature is not logical or rational. If you start believing in fate and pre-ordained plans, then you're reverted to superstitious CAVE MAN logic....don't do it.

Bad things happen to everybody. You just hear about them happening to good people more than others.

Bad things happen to good as well as bad people alike. Life is not like a turnstile, where if you do something good then something good happens to you. There too many myths concerning this and they cause disappointment in people.

How sturdy or undesirable you're purely consequences how others in society view you, and while you're undesirable adequate you will get some judgment against you. yet on the great it makes no distinction while you're sturdy or undesirable as some distance by using fact the UNIVERSE is worried. I placed that throughout all caps so people could word that i'm not suggesting which you be undesirable. maximum persons attempt to be sturdy for the reason that's what makes it person-friendly for us to have a society and get alongside with others. yet by using fact the universe is the source of sturdy and undesirable issues that ensue to people, it could care much less no remember while you're socially nicely behaved or not.

one thing, bag thing ALSO happens to bad people as well.
Just that when that happens, we do not feel pain for them.
We feel sad losing good people.
KNow that because everything is fair, so, the percentage of bag things occuring to good people is the same as that happening to the bad nuts.
So, then, God will not be criticized for being unfair.
Because, he is fair.
Do you now understand, my boy?

who is deciding what the 'bad' act is? who is deciding who the 'good people' are?
it is all subjective... i like thunderstorms... others get depressed when they cannot see the sun.
people may precieve things as 'bad' when it happens to them more than if the tables were turned. but in the end we all get eaten by worms.
