Motels are intended for people to use while travelling - or in need of a safe and comfortable place to sleep. I am sensing that your point of view is that having Motels may insinuate that our Society is declining because they are not being used as intended????
But you annot abolish or retain these types of things... This is a Free Country...... Medications, perscriptions, OTC drugs and even vitimin suppliments are known to help many many people who suffer from disease and illness....... We all know that our society may also suffer from the misuse, abuse, or sale of these medications.......... But, to abolish them would take away the right for other innocent humans to have the opportunity to get treatment and eventually get better.......... Same concept for Motels........ Travelling salesmen, single woman needing a room to get away from an abusive man, or an innocent family on the road looking for a safe place to sleep - cannot have their rights and opportuinities taken from them simply because MOTELS degrade our society............

Um, you're driving and you need a place to stop and sleep for the night. Why on Earth would you want to abolish motels? I don't get it. Most people just screw in their own homes, if that's what you're worried about.

Why should motels be abolished???? People do it in the back seat also.... so should we abolish cars?? How about apartments and homes... How about the woods?? Burn them down?? Get real sweetie, this is life!

umm motels affect society by making it where less car accidents occur. people get tired while theyre driving and they need 2 pull over and rest. if there were no hotels do u realize how many people would fall asleep at the wheel??

motels should all be torn down that way people will have to sleep in their cars when they travel...and bathe in the city fountain.
