this site is an excellent resource if you're interested in web design. I personally love it because this is my major and I want to get as much experience as I can and I learn alot from this site too.

You need to read Martin Fowler's book... Design Patterns For Enterprise Architectures. From there, you can move on to more advanced texts, like, HTML For Dummies and Java In 24 Seconds.

Download macromedia dreamweaver and get dreamweaver 8 for dummies and use that. It's pretty easy to learn.
